Kimberley Jones B.A. (Hons), MIWOC

Kimberley originally trained as an Art Historian. She has also studied psychology, management, English literature, art & creative thinking. Her work background includes sales, marketing & project management for large corporations. She runs a healing & energy coaching practice in Devon, UK.

Naturally psychic, clairvoyant & clairsentient, Kimberley repressed these abilities for many years. Then in 1998 following the death of her mother she experienced a series of dramatic & disabling spiritual awakenings which led to a prolonged period of illness. Some people call what happened to Kimberley ‘Spiritual Emergency’, ‘Kundalini Awakening’ or ‘Shamanic Initiation’. With no idea what was happening to her & nowhere to turn to for informed support, Kimberley experienced these processes as traumatic. A couple of years later Kimberley was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia while enduring several months of acute, disabling symptoms in her body. With the support of an open-minded GP she began exploring mind, body & spirit approaches to healing & embarked on a journey of spiritual enquiry & self-healing. Art sustained her & acted as healing meditation & much-needed reflection time throughout this period.

Kimberley then began training as a healer & initiate of various spiritual traditions. This led her to a visionary teacher & director of an evolutionary training company.  Kimberley soon became a trainer for their courses on Transformational Facilitation, Organisational Energetics & Energy Mastery. She was part of the development & facilitation team for their international conferences. This is where she received her first commissions for inspirational & visionary art.

She then went into semi-retreat & voluntary apprenticeship for 2 years to train with a Premier European Rebirther & his family. Here she dropped more deeply into her personal healing journey. This is also when she further developed her perceptual awareness, knowledge of energy, ‘bodymind’ consciousness & the healing process.

Kimberley sees a spontaneous display of colours & forms when she connects with a person, place or time. She has realised in the course of her work that she receives much of her intuitive & clairvoyant information through sensations, colour, light & abstract form. Using her training she can tune into various levels of mind, body & spirit & translate what she sees or channel what she senses into paintings & then if necessary into words.

“I realise that what happens when I paint is what happens when I work as a healer. A high vibrational energy flows through me. I am a conduit, a channel, a connection between the seen & unseen. I cannot in all conscience claim credit for what appears on the canvas any more than I can a client’s healed wound. Facing a canvas & surrendering to this energy which claims passage is the most confronting & levelling of all.

I am most inspired by those places & experiences at the very edge of human understanding which include the far reaches of inner & outer space, the uncharted depths of the ocean & the unseen universe of consciousness. In my experience as an artist & healer it seems far more challenging to honour truthfully the inner terrain of emotions, thoughts, intuition, energy, pain, healing & spiritual realisation than it is to capture elements of the physical, external universe.

My passion is the evolution of human consciousness. It is my intention to inspire emotional & spiritual growth, conscious awareness, cultural sensitivity/responsibility & joyful cooperation through my art, writing, energy awareness & teaching.”
